Salvaging as much character as possible from the original 1950's home, extensive interior modifications were undertaken to add light,
color, and open spaces, to an originally inefficient layout. Using the original house orientation lines, a
500 sq. ft. office addition was located off of the main footprint of the residence to capture prime views of Lake Washington and Downtown
Seattle. A professional quality kitchen was created along with an adjacent deck to accomodate outdoor dining. New plumbing, heating, electrical
and data systems were installed. Design changes were made based upon the needs of the owners' growing family.
