The owners of this beautiful Tudor
style home on Lake Washington, benefited from the former owner’s remodel which opened
up the main living spaces to each other and updated finishes and lighting throughout.
Our design team changed only a few details to the architecture by adding a wing wall
in the dining room, upholstering the end wall in silk, and installing a sparkling crystal chandelier.
Then all that was needed to make a house a home was to fill it with furnishings that expressed
the owner’s desires for a colorful and comfortable setting created with high quality traditional pieces.
Through our purchasing company StockUP, we provided furniture
and fabrics to coordinate with the existing area rugs. We designed the
layout to create many small seating areas for the family to enjoy, which also
function well in combination for a large gathering. The exterior decks were
furnished to continue the interior color scheme and style to the outdoors.
To finish off this setting, lighting, accessories and the family’s own art
collection were positioned to complement the rest of the design.
