An initial kitchen remodel quickly
increased in scope to a full-scale gut and rebuild of most of the interior structure.
The entire 2nd floor bedroom level was reconfigured to provide a gracious Master
suite and 2 bedrooms plus bath. A new kitchen replaced a grim 1960’s version and
glass enclosed addition provided an informal and sunny eating area. To take
advantage of the spectacular Lake Washington views at the top levels of the house,
the owners asked that a home office be tucked into the attic level. To fully utilize
every portion of the house, up-to-date Media and Exercise rooms were carved out of the
under-utilized basement level.
