This 1920's era home situated near Greenlake, is a great example of how inviting and spacious rooms can feel when they enjoy a more open floorplan. By demolishing the orginal breakfast nook and covered walkway, that connected the kitchen to the deck, this remodel was achieved without the need to add to the original footprint. The functional kitchen design with lots of storage, reflects the home's era yet feels modern and soothing with its earthy palette. Clear finished maple cabinetry was combined with cherry stained sections to create visual relief through contrasting tones. Stainless steel appliances, concrete countertops and heated slate flooring handsomely combine to inspire the owner's culinary skills. With direct access to the adjoining deck, entertaining becomes seamless.
