Filter is a creative placement agency that provides staffing services as well as media design and production. The company’s new address consolidated three offices in the city to one downtown location. The goal for the new office look was to introduce a clean, modern aesthetic to a dark, compartmentalized existing office space and give character and distinction to the three main groups that make up the agency. Each group corresponds with a color that breaks up the space visually into separate zones. The punches of concentrated color stand in stark contrast to modern white walls. The use of color goes beyond just paint on the walls, but becomes space defining by extending the wall color to the floor plane in concentrated nodes creating spaces within spaces as well as zone separators.
