This project began with the substantial renovation of an existing warehouse and addition to create a biotech lab and office facility. Stock and Associates designed the shell and core and then the tenant improvements which include offices and labs for three biotech companies with shared lab services floor. We also provided interior design for the building and tenant spaces and building signage design. Wood siding from the 1970s was stripped from the exterior of the warehouse to reveal the original window openings and the addition provides a modern core with a new elevator, restrooms, loading dock and fire stairs. Wood beams, tin fire doors, and industrial equipment was saved and installed in the renovated building's public areas to preserve some of the original character. The project is on target for LEED Gold.
