P O R T   T O W N S E N D  M A R I N E  S C I E N C E

The impetus for the ORCA EDUCATION PROJECT was the acquistion of an orca skeleton from NOAA in 2008. Stock & Associates has been retained to create a home for this skeleton so that it may be shared with the public and used to educate and inspire visitors to the Port Townsend Marine Science Center.The schematic design encloses an existing portico to provide gracious entry to both a new Ocean Sciences Hall and to the existing Natural History Exhibit housed in an historic building in Fort Warden State Park.
